PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tin plating surface treated steel sheet having a steel sheet surface low in glossiness, and an advantageous method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a tin plating surface treated steel sheet comprises: performing electroplating on the surface of a cold-rolled steel sheet subjected to annealing after cold rolling to form an Sn plated layer and forming a Cr-Sn-alloy layer on the surface of the Sn plated layer by performing reflow treatment after depositing metal Cr on the Sn plated layer. The specular glossiness of the steel sheet surface is 40(%) or less at Gs (60°) specified by JIS Z8741. |
