The invention relates to the use of a water distribution device (1) in a sink-unit base cupboard for distributing potable water to water-bearing domestic appliances. The water distribution device (1) comprises fastening means (2) for mounting on a wall in the sink-unit base cupboard and a supply water inlet (3) ready for connection to a water supply line. In addition, the water distribution device (1) comprises a plurality of appliance water outlets (8, 9) ready for connection, a filter water outlet (5), and a filter water inlet (12) for connecting a water filter, wherein the supply water inlet (3) is connected to the filter water outlet by means of a potable water line (4) in order to supply the water filter with water, and the filter water inlet (12) is connected to the plurality of appliance water outlets (8, 9) by means of at least one filter water line (13) in order to supply the appliance water outlets (8, 9) with water coming from the filter water inlet (12). The use of a water distribution device (1) according to the invention in a sink-unit base cupboard has the achievable advantage of making a potable water installation particularly space-saving and achieving particularly simple, time-saving installation and maintenance. |
