The method involves preparing ballast and shifting one side of ballast towards center of track. The conditioning residues are stored on released surface. The conditioning residues are interspersed at spot. The conditioning residues are installed as part of a new substructure. An independent claim is included for a device for improving or repairing railway tracks.
