The present invention relates to a high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) therapy system and a method. The HIFU therapy system comprises the steps of: obtaining ultrasound images with respect to a region to be treated inside a body of a person to be operated; radiating the HIFU to the region to be treated; obtaining temperature information with respect to a focal region; visualizing the focal region and the temperature information in which the HIFU is radiated, and generating the output images by connecting the visualized focal region, the visualized temperature information, and the ultrasound images; and displaying the output images.
