<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel sensor with a color filter configured to prevent physical damage to a surface on a color filter side and electrical damage to an electrode layer formed on a surface opposite to the color filter through a substrate, and to provide a liquid-crystal display and a coordinate detector including the touch panel sensor with a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: A touch panel sensor with a color filter includes: a first electrode layer 5 provided directly or indirectly on a first surface of a substrate 3 and having plural aligned first electrode parts; a dielectric layer 6 covering the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer 8 provided directly or indirectly on a second surface of the substrate and having plural aligned second electrode parts. The touch panel substrate, the first electrode layer, and the second electrode layer compose a touch panel sensing unit.
