<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover purified pentamethylenediamine in a high yield in simple production processes, while preventing production trouble such as piping blockage, etc., in the production of pentamethylenediamine by the thermal decomposition of pentamethylenediamine carbonate salts. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing purified pentamethylenediamine is provided by including the thermal decomposition process of heating an aqueous solution of a pentamethylenediamine carbonate salt and decomposing it to crude pentamethylenediamine and carbon dioxide while removing distillate. The water concentration is ≥75 wt.% in the distillate, until the decomposition rate of the pentamethylenediamine carbonate salt exceeds 90 mol%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
