An identification apparatus for identifying the position of a linear electric motor (1), comprising a linear electric motor (1) provided with a body (50) that extends along a longitudinal axis (A1-A1); a rod (20) that is able to move coaxially with the longitudinal axis (A1-A1); permanent magnets (10) integral with the rod (20); windings (11) housed in the body (50) and at least partially associated with the permanent magnets (10), wherein a relative movement of the magnets (10) and windings (11) creates a variable magnetic field that is detectable by a plurality of magnetic field sensors (31, 32, 33, 34) mounted in the body (50), wherein the rod (20) is able to be moved between a first position for detecting a first substantially unaltered quasi-sinusoidal signal (S1) representative of the fact that the electric motor (1) is in a first electric step (P1), and a second position for detecting a second quasi-sinusoidal signal (S2) in an altered form representative of the fact that the electric motor (1) is in a second electric step (P2) of the motor (1); and wherein the plurality of sensors (31, 32, 33, 34) are positioned so as to face the permanent magnets (10) over two electric steps (P1, P2) of the linear motor (1). |
