PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously hold a workpiece member, and a sheet member of the same size as the workpiece member, above the workpiece member, while preventing an increase in a facility size.SOLUTION: A holding device that holds a plate-like workpiece member and a sheet-like sheet member superposed on the workpiece member includes a sheet holding means having sheet holding portions for holding inner sides of one edge of the sheet member and the other edge on the opposite side of the one edge so that these edges hang down, a workpiece holding means having workpiece holding portions for holding one edge of the workpiece member superposed on the one edge of the sheet member and the other edge of the workpiece member superposed on the other edge of the sheet member, and a lifting means for moving relatively at least either the workpiece holding means or the sheet holding means toward that superposing direction. |
