PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sodium p-styrene sulfonate which has improved flowability, which has been a conventional problem, while maintaining excellent solubility.SOLUTION: In this invention, &bgr;-bromo-ethylbenzene sulfonic acid aqueous solution and sodium hydroxide aqueous solution are reacted under specific conditions to control a particle diameter, thereby obtaining a sodium p-styrene sulfonate particle having an improved a balance between flowability and solubility. |
