The issue of this invention is to generate and supply mist having sterilizing effect to a storage chamber without generating harmful gas such as ozone although an electrostatic atomizing device is taken as a mist generation means. The solution of this invention is that an electrostatic atomizing device is installed (36) on a partition board (8) defined between a refrigeration chamber (3) and a vegetable chamber (4). Water (W) in a water storing tank (43) is supplied to a mist releasing portion (49) by passing through a water absorbing pin (48), a water retention material (47) and an electric conductive membrane (46). Negative high voltage of a DC high-voltage power device (56) is imposed to the mist releasing portion (49), through electric discharging generated from the mist releasing portion (49), to release the mist containing hydroxyl free radical that has strong oxidation. The mist is supplied to the vegetable chamber (4) from a mist releasing outlet (52). |
