PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer particle, capable of improving, when used as a binder for toner, the low-temperature fixability and hot offset preventing performance of toner.SOLUTION: A polymer particle includes a polymer (B) localized on the surface of a polymer particle (A). The polymer particle (A) is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer component (I) including: (A-1) an aromatic vinyl compound; (A-2) at least one selected from a (meth)acrylate, vinyl cyanide and a conjugated diene compound; and (A-3) an unsaturated carboxylic acid, and having a content of crosslinkable monomer of 0.1 wt.% or less. The polymer (B) is obtained by copolymerizing a monomer component (II) including: (B-1) an aromatic vinyl compound; (B-2) at least one selected from a (meth)acrylate, vinyl cyanide and a conjugated diene compound; and (B-3) an unsaturated carboxylic acid, and having a content of crosslinkable monomer of 20-60 wt.%. |
