PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a monitoring image processor capable of avoiding a false report by always executing background difference having high accuracy without deteriorating accuracy.SOLUTION: The monitoring image processor includes a colorfulness determination part for creating a color histogram from a current image, and determining whether the current image is in a monotone state or in a colorful state on the basis of the dispersion of the color histogram, and a selector part for selecting color background difference in the case that the colorfulness determination part determines the colorful state, and selecting luminance background difference in the case that the colorfulness determination part determines the monotone state. |
