This automatic gain control device (1) performs automatic gain control during demodulation or modulation of a predetermined signal. The automatic gain control device (1) is equipped with: an estimated value calculation means (2) for calculating an estimated C/N value of the predetermined signal; a signal generation means (3) for generating a first signal on the basis of an amplitude peak value in a predetermined period of the predetermined signal; an operational threshold value changing means (4) for changing an operational threshold value for the automatic gain control on the basis of the estimated C/N value calculated by the estimated value calculation means (2) and the first signal generated by the signal generation means (3); and a gain control means (5) for controlling a gain during the automatic gain control by comparing the operational threshold value changed by the operational threshold value changing means (4) with the predetermined signal. |
