Disclosed by the present invention is an apparatus for recognizing the three-dimensional posture and location of a moving object. The apparatus for recognizing the three-dimensional posture and location of a moving object comprises: a plurality of polarization modules which are attached individually to a plurality of sides of a three-dimensional figure; a plurality of illumination modules which correspond individually to the polarization modules and generate and output illumination value data of receiving light as polarized light, radiated from a polarization light source, is transmitted through the corresponding polarization modules; and an analysis unit which generates the posture data and location data of the moving object by using the illumination value data received from the illumination modules corresponding to the polarization modules attached to at least three considered object sides.
