PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defective transfer of an image to be transferred from a recording material to a base material.SOLUTION: A transfer device (U3) includes: a transfer part (31) arranged on the downstream side of a lamination part (U3a) in a conveyance direction of a laminate (19) on which a recording material (10) forming an image on its surface and a base material (7) to which the image is to be transferred are laminated and configured so as to convey the laminate (19) to the downstream side, heat the laminate (19) and transfer the image formed on the surface of the recording material (10) to a surface of the base material (7); and a heating member (23) arranged on the downstream side of the lamination part (U3a) and the upstream side of the transfer part (31) in the conveyance direction of the laminate (19) and configured so as to convey the laminate (19) to the transfer part (31) at a speed lower than a conveyance speed of the transfer part (31) and heat the laminate (19) at a low temperature as compared with a lower limit temperature at which the image can be transferred from the recording material (10) to the base material (7). |
