PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise sales data processing device and program capable of improving convenience of an electronic receipt.SOLUTION: A merchandise sales data processing device comprises: receipt data generation means that generates receipt data representing transaction content of merchandise to be transacted in a first data format for printing; output means that outputs the receipt data for one transaction to any one or both of a printing device and an external device other than the printing device; and conversion means that converts the receipt data into a second data format different from the first data format when the output means outputs the receipt data to the external device. |
