摘要 The present invention relates to a remote robot control apparatus and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a remote robot control apparatus includes an interface unit receiving a selection of the operating information of a field robot to be remotely controlled and the operation mode of the field robot from a user′s remote controller, and receiving an operation command signal controlling the operation of the field robot; a job command generating unit generating a job command signal for the operation of the field robot to be remotely controlled, or the operation of an object in response to the received operation mode information and the operation command signal; an autonomous command generating unit generating an autonomous operation command signal controlling the operation of a second field robot if the job command signal is generated for a first field robot when a following mode is selected by the user, and generating an autonomous operation command signal controlling the operations of the first field robot and the second field robot operating the object if the job command signal is generated when object mode is selected by the user; and a communication unit transmitting the generated autonomous operation command signals to the first field robot and the second field robot. Thus, the remote robot control apparatus can perform a specific job through cooperation between field robots that can replace a worker in an amorphous or risky work environment in a remote place.
