The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a heat-treatable alloy plate and a heat-treatable alloy plate manufactured thereby. More specifically, the method, which is a method of manufacturing a plate by welding heat-treatable alloy plates, is characterized by performing welding using a friction stir welding tool with a tool pin rotating at 1000 to 2000 rpm and a welding speed of 50 to 350 mmpm, and cooling a welded part at a temperature of -50 to 25°C. The method of manufacturing a heat-treatable plate according to the present invention is performed under specific welding condition and cooling condition, so a welded portion of the heat-treatable plate has superior strength. Moreover, when the heat-treatable plate is manufactured, a method of pouring a cooling medium in a cooling path of a jig or support indirectly, not directly spraying a coolant or immersing the plate in the coolant is used as a cooling method. Thus the method of the present invention is environmentally friendly and economical and makes it easy to control temperature. |
