Seating furniture is illustrated and described which has a base body (2) and a functional part (3) which can pivot with respect to the base body (2), at least one pivot fitting (4) for adjusting the functional part (3) relative to the base body (2) and a particularly separate lift setting mechanism (5, 5') for locking the functional part with respect to the base body (2), or a locking joint (51) for locking the functional part (3) with respect to the base body (2) in a locking position of the locking joint (51). To be able to construct the seating furniture such that it is relatively small and/or simple without appreciably limiting the functionality, it is provided that the functional part (3) is connected to the base body (2) by an adjusting lever (10), in that the pivot lever (10) and the adjusting lever (11) can be pivoted about a pivot axis (12) with respect to one another, in that the adjusting lever (10) can be moved with respect to the base body (2) out of a lower position into an upper position and back, in that the pivot lever (10) is connected to the base body (2) by a lever connection (14) comprising a steering lever (8) and a control lever (15, 15'), in that the steering lever (8) can pivot with respect to the pivot lever (10) and with respect to the control lever (15), in that the control lever (15) can pivot with respect to the base body (2) and/or to the adjusting lever (11) and in that the control lever (15) is connected to the adjusting lever (10) such that when the adjusting lever (10) is moved from the lower position into the upper position and back, the control lever (15) is pivoted with respect to the base body (2) and/or to the adjusting lever (11) and thus causes a pivoting movement of the pivot lever (10) with respect to the adjusting lever (11) via the steering lever (8). |
