PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending roll which does not require an actuator of large capacity for raising/lowering a die for end bending.SOLUTION: Two end bending dies 23 are respectively fitted to nuts 22 engaged with a threaded shaft 21 that extends in an axial direction directly below an upper roll 1 and is threaded in opposite directions from both sides of the center of the upper roll 1, the nut being engaged at positions symmetric about the center. The threaded shaft 21 is rotated so that the dies 23 are shifted in an axial direction from both sides of the center of the upper roll in symmetrical manner, so that a plate material is end-bended for each divided part along width direction. Thus, end-bending is possible with no requirement for larger capacity of an entire bending roll. |
