PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or eliminate injuries to extremities of limbs of a primate caused by binding of them when it is restrained by a partition wall which is movable back and forth in a restrainer.SOLUTION: A restrainer 10 for a primate includes: a housing body 20 which has two lateral sides, a top face and a bottom face; a rear side door 50 which can open and close the rear side of the housing body 20; a partition wall 30 which is formed so that it can move back and forth inside the housing body 20 and is formed so that it can be fixed in a desired position inside the housing body 20; a pair of operating handles 40 and a pair of latching members 44 which extend toward the front from the partition wall 30; and locking devices 25 for fixing the latching members 44 in a desired position. Several locking grooves 45 with a saw-tooth appearance are formed on the lower side of the latching members 44. Engaging keys 25c engaging in the locking grooves 45 are arranged in the locking devices 25. The device is formed so that the partition wall 30 can be fixed in a desired position inside the housing body 20 by allowing one of the several locking grooves 45 to engage in the engaging key 25c of the locking device 25. |
