The rail (10) has a bearing pad (12) supporting a vertical core (14) surmounted by a rail head (16), where the rail head defines a semi-circle shaped convex upper rolling surface (24) and a plane lateral guiding side (30). The upper rolling surface is connected to the plane lateral guiding side through two successive convex regions (32, 34) of the surface at the side having two bend radius (R2, R3) respectively equal to 80 millimeters and 13 millimeters. The side is inclined with respect to a vertical plane (P) of the rail with a slope equal to one of 1/17.2 and 1/30.22 values. |
