<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition made by compounding a butadiene-based polymer with silica and a hydrazide compound, and excellent in abrasion resistance, low fuel consumption property, and wet grip property, and to provide a tire using the rubber compound. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises at least 10 mass% modified butadiene-based polymer rubber (A) as a rubber component, that is prepared by solution polymerization and whose mass average molecular weight is 6,000-1,7000,000 and is comprised of a modified butadiene polymer and/or a modified styrene-butadiene copolymer, and 80-250 pts.mass silica (B) as a reinforcing filler against the rubber composition of 100 pts.mass, whose BET specific surface area is 100-350 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g and water content of the surface is 0.50-5.00 mass%, also comprises (C) the hydrazide compound of 0.2-4 pts, mass against the rubber composition of 100 pts.mass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
