Fibre reinforced composite fan blade

The fan blade has a blade leaf, a blade footing (2) held in a recess (3) of a rotor disc (4) and multiple carbon fiber layers (7) running parallel to blade leaf axis. A blade leaf root is provided that is bent in the blade footing. An overlapping area extends from beginning to both sides of blade leaf root. A compressive force impact zone is provided, in which the pre-bent carbon fiber layers running parallel to flanks (12) of the blade footing lie in the recess of the rotor disc. A glass fiber outer layer (10) is formed on both the flanks of the blade footing.
