摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for classifying tissue samples of cancer patients or patients suspected of a cancer.SOLUTION: The method is configured to detect the copy number of human chromosome 7, human chromosome locus 10q23.3 and human chromosome locus 3q26.3 in the cells of biological samples from human patients in the treatment by e.g. an inhibitor of an activity of tyrosine kinase of EGFR, and the method comprises the step of classifying the samples based on the result of having a copy number profile of 10q23.3 loss, 3q26.3 gain and chromosome 7 loss relative to normal copy number for each, and the step of classifying into a human patient resistant to the treatment by the agents such as an inhibitor of an activity of tyrosine kinase of EGFR, when 10q23.3 loss, 3q26.3 gain and chromosome 7 loss relative to normal copy number for each is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: None
