PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the joining strength of a composite member comprising WC-based cemented carbide and WC-based cemented carbide.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a composite member in which a WC-based cemented carbide member and a WC-based cemented carbide member are joined with a joining member composed of Al foil preferably comprising Al of 98 atom% or more, where a binder phase of the WC-based cemented carbide at the joining part comprises an average component composition of Al: 50-80 atom%, W: 5-30 atom% and Co: 5-30 atom%, and a tool comprising the composite member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
