PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a wiper which makes a wiping edge less likely to move from a pane onto a rim/profile of the pane when the wiper is positioned on the pane in the vicinity of the rim/profile and can properly wipe the pane in a quick and simple manner without the needs of additional wiping elements.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a wiper 1 comprising an elongate cleaning strip 2 which is substantially made of a flexible material and a holder for fixing the cleaning strip 2. Viewed along a longitudinal direction of the cleaning strip 2, the cleaning strip 2 comprises a wiping edge 4 for wiping panes and a wiping strip comprising the wiping edge 4 which extends beyond the holder along a substantially entire length of the holder. The holder furthermore comprises retaining supports which extend along the wiping strip almost as far as the wiping edge 4 at the location of ends 7 of the wiping strip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
