PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharger that can be reduced in size while having required durability.SOLUTION: A discharger 10 comprises: a ceramic substrate 11 in which a pair of electrodes 111 electrically insulated from each other are formed on the upper surface thereof and a trigger electrode 112 electrically insulated from the pair of electrodes 111 is formed in the interior thereof; and a light-transmissive lid 12 provided such that the outer edges thereof extend along the edges of the surface of the ceramic substrate 11. The lid 12 is open at its bottom to expose the pair of electrodes 111 and having a recessed part P overlapping the trigger electrode 112 in a plane view, and the recessed part P is filled with inert gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
