A holding mechanism (30), carrier (100) and remote controller (200) using the holding mechanism (30) and fastening assembly of the holding mechanism, the holding mechanism (30) comprising a first holding member (32) and a second holding member (34); the first holding member (32) comprises a first holding portion (3233), the second holding member (34) comprises a second holding potion (343) and a limiting portion (3411), and the second holding member (34) is slidably disposed on the first holding member (32) to adjust the distance between the second holding portion (343) and the first holding portion (3233); the holding mechanism (30) also comprises a limiting member (383) disposed on the first holding member (32), the limiting member (383) coordinates with the limiting portion (3411) to define a relative sliding position of the first holding member (32) and the second holding member (34). The holding mechanism (30), the carrier (100) and the remote controller (200) using the holding mechanism (30) have a secure and reliable holding capacity with respect to an external device and a wide application scope.
