PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently collecting general-purpose driving data related to overall driving.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle data collection system comprises: an in-vehicle system 10 mounted in a vehicle; and an information center capable of wireless communication with the in-vehicle system. In the in-vehicle system, a data collection unit 21 repeatedly collects a plurality of measurement values representative of a state of an own vehicle mounting therein the in-vehicle system. A model storage unit 28 stores therein model information representative of a preset discretization rule and common to respective vehicles. A data discretization unit 23 makes driving data into a plurality of discrete partial data using the model information, the driving data being the time-series measurement values collected by the data collection unit. On the other hand, the information center stores the discrete driving data that is the data discretized by the data discretization unit in a server.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
