PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent image data having high confidentiality from being leaked to the outside and to present the optimum storage destination of read image data, without taking the time and effort of a user.SOLUTION: An image reading device includes a document reading part 13 which is image data reading means for reading the image data from a document, file size detection means 18a for detecting the file size of the image data, confidentiality detection means 18b for detecting the confidentiality of the image data, and storage destination control means 18c for deciding the storage destination of the image data read by the document reading part 13 on the basis of the file size and the confidentiality of the image data, and storing the image date in the decided storage destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
