PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoacoustic wave measurement device capable of reducing exposure to irradiation with unnecessary pulse light.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic wave measurement device comprises a light source 101; a photoacoustic wave detector (a transducer) 115 which detects a photoacoustic wave 114 generated from a measurement target irradiated with light from the light source 101; a distance measurement part (a distance calculator) 122 which obtains a distance between a measurement position on a surface of a measurement target 112 and the photoacoustic wave detector 115; and a light volume adjuster (a measurement controller) 102 which, when the distance at the measurement position exceeds a threshold, reduces light with which the measurement target 112 is irradiated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
