Provided is a washing machine that comprises: a washing/spin-drying tub (7) that is accommodated inside a water tank so as to be able to freely rotate; a pulsator (8) that is arranged on a central inner base part of the washing/spin-drying tub (7) so as to be able to freely rotate; and a water channel cover (14) that is provided on an inner wall of the washing/spin-drying tub (7). A pump chamber (19) is formed at a position below the pulsator (8) inside the water tank. A circulating water channel that circulates a washing liquid inside the pump chamber (19) to the washing/spin-drying tub (7) is formed by the water channel cover (14). The water channel cover (14) includes a side surface cover part (15) and an upper cover part (16) that is connected to an upper part of the side surface cover part (15) and has a horizontally elongated shape. The upper cover part (16) has disposed therein, at substantially the same height in a circumferential direction of the washing/spin-drying tub (7), a plurality of discharge openings (11, 12, 13) for supplying the washing liquid into the washing/spin-drying tub (7). |
