In the present invention, artemisinin is obtained by extracting from Artemisia annua L by aqueous solution ultrasound, separating by a macroporous adsorbing resin, and purifying by recrystallization. The extraction process is as follows: 1. mixing a powder of branches and leaves of Artemisia annua L with an aqueous solution, to obtain an extraction liquid of Artemisia annua L via an ultrasound extraction process; 2. directly separating the extraction liquid by a macroporous resin, eluting with ethyl acetate, concentrating, to obtain an artemisinin crude; 3. dissolving the crude using a haloalkane, solidifying to remove impurities; 4. and recrystallizing with ethanol, to obtain a pure artemisinin product. The present method combines ultrasound with the counter-current extraction technique, wherein artemisinin can be sufficiently extracted only with simply an aqueous solution without an organic solvent, the aqueous extraction liquid is directly separated by a macroporous resin and eluted to increase the separation efficiency of artemisinin, and impurities are processed adding halo-alkanes into a solidified crude. |
