A method for protecting a massager core, and a massager. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, start a motor (25) to run to drive a massager core (2) to move on a rack (1), and a timer in a main control circuit (4) accumulates a running time t of the motor (25); and step 2, when the running time t reaches a preset value t0, the main control circuit (4) reads a core position signal of a position detection device, and the main control circuit (4) determines, according to the core position signal, whether to cut off the motor (25), so as to prevent a damage to a transmission device (26). The massager comprises the massager core (2), the rack (1), and the main control circuit (4). The massager also comprises a locking device used for limiting the slide of the massager core (2) on the rack (1) during transportation. An unlocking detection device used for detecting whether the locking device is unlocked is disposed between the rack (1) and the massager core (2). The massager can protect the massager core. |
