PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorded material production method in which a reliable recorded material (photo books) laminating the surface of the side opposite to the surface provided with an image of a sheet can be produced with good productivity, while effectively preventing the occurrence of problems such as decrease of work performance due to the stickiness of adhesives or the difficulty of alignment.SOLUTION: A recorded material production method of the present invention has: an image forming step of forming an image by an ink-jet method on the surface at the side opposite to the surface provided with the adhesive layer of a recording sheet having a base material and an adhesive layer made of materials containing pressure sensitive adhesives; and a pressurizing step of making the surface provided with the adhesive layer of the recording sheet formed of the image face each other and pressurizing the recording sheet in an overlapped state, and making the surface at the side opposite to the surface formed of the image adhere to each other. The recording sheet is selectively provided with the adhesive layer in a part facing each other, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: None
