PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of a photoacoustic device.SOLUTION: A photoacoustic device comprises: light applying means that applies light to a subject; an acoustic wave detector that detects acoustic waves generated in the subject due to the light and converts them into electric signals; a first photodetector that acquires the intensity of light propagated in the subject and leaked to the outside of the subject; an information acquisition unit that generates information in the subject on the basis of the electric signals; and a control unit that controls the intensity of light to be applied to the subject on the basis of the intensity of light acquired by the first photodetector.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
