PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a fine and good quality calcium oxide that can be heated up in a very short period of time by hydration reaction, and has an applicability as a good-quality heat-storage material.SOLUTION: Provided is: a method for forming calcium oxide by blowing air to a calcium hydroxide in a powder or mass state, to promote dehydration reaction and form calcium oxide; and a method for forming a calcium oxide with a fineness in a range of 23 to 52 m3/g, by blowing air in a range of 300 to 1,000 ml-min-1 to a calcium hydroxide in a powder or mass state, to accelerate dehydration reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
