PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device that is downsized, consumes less power and can reduce heat generation of a solenoid.SOLUTION: A steering lock device 1 comprises: a link 40 that inhibits rotation of a cam shaft 20 toward a LOCK position at a drawing position of a plunger 31, or restriction position, and permits rotation of the cam shaft 20 toward the LOCK position at a protruding position of the plunger 31, or a permission position; a slider 50 that transfers the link 40 to the restriction position and the permission position responding to the rotation of the cam shaft 20; a first spring 61 that energizes the slider 50 toward a direction in which the link 40 is transferred to the restriction position; and a second spring 62 that energizes the link 40 toward a direction in which the link 40 is transferred to the permission position. The slider 50 is moved by energizing force of the first spring 61 so as to transfer the link 40 to an inhibition position responding to rotation of the cam shaft 20 from the LOCK position toward an ON position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
