PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-configured blood storage tank capable of effectively reducing a flow-down speed of blood after removal of foreign objects and bubbles by a withdrawn blood filtration unit.SOLUTION: A blood storage tank 1 includes a chamber 10, a withdrawn blood inflow port P2 to let withdrawn blood aspirated from a surgical field of a patient flow into a chamber 11, a withdrawn blood filtration unit 40 to filtrate the withdrawn blood flown thereinto, and a guide unit to guide the filtrated blood toward a vicinity of a bottom of the chamber 11. The withdrawn blood filtration unit 40 includes a first frame 41 and a first filter 43 covering the first frame 41. The guide unit includes a base member 31 and a cover member 34 that covers the base member 31 and allows the blood to go through for transportation of the blood. A lower end 43a of the first filter 43 is in contact with the cover member 34. The cover member 34 is composed of fabric formed with fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
