[Class 39 (i)] In a small cathode glow lamp more particularly for use as an indicator on bus-bars or switch gear, the cathode is an elastic split ring 5 with projections 6 to space it from the envelope 1. The anode 7 is central ; both electrodes may be alkali coated to facilitate starting. The envelope is reduced at its lowei end 2 to form an evacuating tube, which is sealed off. |
