Disclosed are a positioning result acquisition method and apparatus, which are used to solve the problems of long positioning result acquisition time and instable positioning result acquisition currently existing in positioning of a mobile terminal. The method comprises: configuring an auxiliary positioning database in a terminal, and upon receiving a positioning request, determining a positioning result according to an auxiliary positioning result stored in the local auxiliary positioning database of the terminal. By means of the technical solution of the present invention, it is unnecessary to wait for positioning results of a GPS and a network, so that the positioning time is effectively reduced; further, the terminal can still obtain a positioning result according to the auxiliary positioning result stored in the auxiliary positioning database in case of data service interruption, so that the problem of failing to acquire a positioning result in case of data service interruption is avoided, and the reliability of positioning result acquisition is improved. |
