The present invention relates to a novel use of gintonin and, more specifically, to a use of gintonin capable of increasing signal transduction in brain tissues by boosting synaptic transmission in hippocampus via the activation of a lysophosphatidic acid receptor (LPAR), thereby improving memory and learning abilities.
