摘要 The present invention relates to a primer for selecting a low glycoalkaloid potato species and a method for selecting a low glycoalkaloid potato species by using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a primer for detecting an expression level of a biosynthetic gene positively related to a potato glycoalkaloid content under a drought stress treatment, and to a quantitative real time PCR (qRT-PCR) method. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for selecting a potato species containing a low content of glycoalkaloid which causes toxicity in a human body, by utilizing the expression level of the biosynthetic gene as a selection index. The method for selecting a low glycoalkaloid potato species comprises the following steps: i) separating total RNA from a potato tuber; ii) synthesizing cDNA from the total RNA; iii) performing a quantitative real-time PCR by using a primer set capable of amplifying a glycoalkaloid biosynthetic gene, wherein the quantitative real-time PCR is performed by utilizing the cDNA as a mold; iv) confirming an expression level of the glycoalkaloid biosynthetic gene amplified through the quantitative real-time PCR; and v) selecting a potato species having a low content of glycoalkaloid by comparing gene expression levels.
