PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component by which electrical insulation can be surely performed in the coil, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A coil component comprises: a substrate 11; a coil installed on a principal surface of the substrate 11 by plating growth; a resin body installed on the principal surface of the substrate 11 before the plating growth of the coil, which includes a plurality of resin walls 18 between which a coil wound part extends; and a coating resin consisting of resin containing magnetic powder, which integrally covers the coil on the principal surface of the substrate 11 and the resin body. The plating growth of a coil wound part 14 is performed so that the coil extends between the resin walls 18 of the resin body installed before the plating growth of the coil. The coil wound parts 14 never contact with each other because the resin walls 18 are interposed between the coil wound parts 14 during the plating growth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
