PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a luminescent composition in which an existence time of a transition metal complex in a triplet excited state is reduced by internal and external heavy-atom effects; and a display device and a lighting system including a light emitting element improved in lifetime using the luminescent composition.SOLUTION: A luminescent composition of the present invention is a luminescent composition containing two or more transition metal complexes. In the luminescent composition, a phenomenon, where an existence time of at least one transition metal complex in a triplet excited state is reduced by both effects of an internal heavy-atom effect and an external heavy-atom effect of the two or more transition metal complexes, is utilized.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
