a cooling unit configured to cool a portion to be cooled; and a control unit configured to control a rotation speed of the cooling unit, wherein the control unit determines the rotation speed of the cooling unit of the time when an image forming operation starts, based on a period during the cooling unit rotates before the image forming operation starts or based on a period during the cooling unit stops before the image forming operation starts, and in stages, increases the rotation speed of the cooling unit in a period of the image forming operation. |
