a plurality of battery units; a protective circuit module on each of the plurality of battery units, the protective circuit module being electrically connected to each of the plurality of battery units; and an upper cover on the protective circuit module, wherein each of the battery units includes:
a bare cell including a can having an opening, an electrode assembly in the can, the electrode assembly including a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate, and a cap plate that seals the opening of the can; anda holder between the bare cell and the protective circuit module, wherein the bare cells are located side by side along a first direction such that each cap plate is exposed along the same direction, and wherein one of the holder and the upper cover includes a protrusion that protrudes in a second direction, and other one of the holder and the upper cover includes a hole combined with the protrusion. |
