1. A reciprocating pump comprising:
a pump housing that houses a crankshaft; a piston mechanically connected to the crankshaft for pumping a fluid through a cylinder, wherein the cylinder comprises a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet; a monitor; a computer in transmission communication with the monitor, wherein the computer comprises a memory; and a ballistic pressure sensor mounted to the pump, wherein said ballistic sensor is in electrical communication with the monitor to sense a pressure value of a fluid within the pump.
