Disclosed are a video studio creating method and a service device. The method comprises the steps of: receiving a live video application-based live video request instruction sent by a client, wherein the live video request instruction comprises user information; acquiring live channel information associated with the user information; acquiring a live channel configuration parameter set corresponding to the live channel information, and creating a video studio according to the live channel configuration parameter set; and outputting an interactive interface of the video studio to the client. The video studio can be automatically configured, and thus the workload of a service device can be reduced, the threshold and difficulty of performing live video are reduced, and the building and use efficiency of the video studio can be improved.
